Reality

So I came for a reality check today...met with a client and I have a senior session tommorow. It's always hard to come back home from the cottage since we have been having so much fun as a family this summer! This is the BEST summer we have ever had. Last year was really tough for us and we learned a LOT. I have learned that my little girls are growing up so fast and I want to be here for every moment that is quickly passing by. I learned that money does not buy you time or make your family any happier. We were so busy in the past and I feel terrible that my girls had to hear "just a minute" or "mommy's working" so many times. I missed a lot and it was not worth it. This year we are spending a lot of time swimming in the lake, playing on the slip and slide and eating a LOT of ice-cream. I need to keep on swimming after all the ice cream I have been consuming.

In just a few short weeks the girls will be back in school and I will have free time to myself. Honestly, I am sad about it. I could never home school because I would be teaching how to play outside and how to get a great tan. They wouldn't get too far with that. Until then we are going to have as much fun as possible!!!
