Beautiful family

Last night I had the priviledge of photographing a wonderful family... beautiful children and a beautiful mommy.  I had such a great time working with them and am excited to present them with some wonderful fall photos. The only thing missing was their daddy who recently made the magnicifant trip to be with Jesus.  It was evident that he was watching over them as they were being photographed because the lighting was perfect and a cloud appeared at the exact moment that we needed it to be there.  It was supposed to rain yesterday so I was not sure if we would even be able to get together, but as we went to the park to take the pictures just enough sun came out and calmed down the wind.  It was Awesome!!!  What a blessing.

Boutique shots

It's going to be a busy week here at Kimberly V Photography.  4 boxes of clothing have already come and more are on the way!!!  YIPPEE!!!  We are planning a super fun shoot on Wed. evening with a campfire theme for "Jessiegirlclothing".  I will be sure to post some pictures as we get them processed.  :)

Fabric

I stopped at the fabric store today to pick up some new bright colors that I thought would be fun!! Love these colors!! What do you think???

Amelia

I just had to post this picture of Amelia because I thought she looked so pretty. She is now the lightest sleeper so I am very thankful I got these pictures when I did. :)

New chair (old)

I love it when I find a fun new piece of furniture to photograph!!! Carollynn had found me a great desk chair on craigslist and when I went to pick it up they had this wonderful chair in their garage as well for a great deal of $10 - totally in my budget. I was pretty fired up about it so my supermodel Naomi agreed to sit on it for a couple of shots. Here is what we came up with so far. She is just so stinkin' cute!!!

A Joyful Vision

Today I was photograping some pieces for an Etsy shop called "A Joyful Vision". I just LOVE the fabrics that she uses. Naomi was super excited too because as we were starting to think about our bedtime routine she was asking if I would take her picture. Well....of course I could not say no to that so I passed off baby Amelia to daddy and threw a chair in the back of the van. Off to the park we went and found a benefit to the ragweed. what great background color!!! Naomi was loving it and her sisters were a bit jealous that they could not come along. I asked it they wanted to do pictures tonight and were later regretting that they said "no". Tommorow we are heading downtown so I am sure their will be more pictures to come.

Oh goodness, its 9:30pm and my kitchen is an absolute diaster!!! After posting these pics I better get a few things picked up so I can find my counter again.

Beach pictures

One of my very favorite places to go is the beach, I could just stay there all day. There is something about the way I feel when I am sitting in the sand with the gentle breeze on my face. I have been dreaming of getting some pictures of Amelia on the beach and had several opportunities to do so this week. All in the last few days we shot in Sheboygan, Peninsula State Park and the Sand Dunes in Door County. I am attaching a fun couple of pics to show you how we safely capture the "sling shot." It takes a lot of patience and balance. :)
